AD | Celebrity weddings are clickbait, aren’t they? Whether it’s the ring, the dress, or even the bouquet, many of us are obsessed with them. We pore over every little detail and, guess what, lots of retailers have taken note. A number of wedding vendors have been creating replicas of our favourite celebrity wedding items. Because these offer a more budget-friendly price tag, whilst not compromising on the quality, look, and fun of the original (such as hiring a wedding limo). Bespoke engagement ring retailer Angelic Diamonds have been taking a look at the best celebrity wedding copies on the market.
Celebrity Weddings Inspiration
Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend
A royal wedding is a huge event, and when The Duchess of Sussex’s earrings caught the attention of onlookers, brands were quick off the mark in creating their own replicas. The simple, classic style of the Cartier 18-carat white gold diamonds only added to the timeless appeal of her elegant fitted gown. While the original price tag of Meghan’s stud earrings comes in at £13,500, Etsy have some perfect dupes* for a fraction of the cost.
Because that’s one easy way you can not only bring a little princessy sparkle to your outfit on a budget, but also benefit an independent retailer too.
A Flawless Glow
Everyone wants to look flawless on their wedding day, don’t they? From the aisle to the dancefloor, I mean, just think of all those photographs… Although many celebrities have a whole host of tools and stylists at their disposal, there are plenty of high street beauty brands offering products to help you nail that celebrity weddings glow.
When Whitney Port wed husband Tim Rosenman in 2015 she looked ethereal. Her make-up artist, Phoebe Organ, revealed one of the secrets to keeping her looking flawless all day long was NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. For a budget friendly alternative, try the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand* or Maybelline FIT ME! Concealer* to keep you looking radiant. And don’t forget a good primer either.
A Ring fit for a Queen-B
Known for producing unique jewellery designs for celebrities, Lorraine Schwartz has created many beautiful pieces for celebrity weddings. She’s a coveted favourite for many famous names including Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, and Kim Kardashian. In 2007, the American rapper Jay Z (Shawn Carter) joined her list to ‘put a ring on it’. And Beyoncé Knowles could no longer raise her hand to ‘single ladies’, with one of Schwartz exclusive engagement rings weighing it down.
Jay-Z opted for an 18-carat platinum ring with an eye watering price tag of $5 million. If you’re dreaming of replicating the allure of Beyoncé’s Schwartz sparkle, then look for an emerald cut diamond engagement ring to capture the same effect. Although it’s no Schwartz piece, my beautiful engagement ring is an emerald cut, and I still love its clean simplicity.
In Full Bloom
Outdoor ceremonies have grown in popularity, inspired by celebrity trends like Kim Kardashian’s stunning 20ft flower wall. The outdoor wedding venues can offer both beauty and budget-friendly options similar to these elaborate setups. Picture saying your vows amidst the charm of natural surroundings, echoing the distinct character found at various Black Canyon AZ weddings.
Whether using hanging bouquets or elegant hydrangea arches like those of Ellie Goulding at her wedding in York Minster, planning your ceremony this way ensures an exquisite atmosphere without excessive costs.
And if you want to capture the beauty of hydrangeas on a budget, why not consider gypsophila or carnations? Both flowers will make lovely bouquets and centrepieces, as well as matching bouquets and buttonholes. Alternatively, make sure you buy in-season flowers or visit a farmers’ market and buy in bulk. Or, better yet, grow your own like Monty Don did for his son’s wedding in 2019. After all, you can never have too many flowers!
A Cake of Dreams
Kayley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting’s wedding cake was a unique upside-down creation, crafted by The Butter End Cakery. Hanging from a chandelier, it certainly added a special touch to their wedding, with a very adventurous design for those tasked with carrying, hanging, and – eventually – cutting it.
But if you’d rather not risk your centrepiece going splat, there are lots of other options to consider. Why not take inspiration from Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk, who offered their guests tiny, individual frosted cakes at their late summer wedding?
Celebrity Weddings and You
So there we are, some easy ways to replicate the celebrity weddings style but on a budget. But whatever you do, don’t forget to book your wedding photographer to capture your special day. Then then, just relax and enjoy it, because it’s your wedding, whether you opt for a child-free day or not. Because at the end of the day, surely that’s what any ceremony like this is all about, isn’t it?
Have you been inspired by any celebrity weddings? What ideas would you like to incorporate into your dream wedding? Or, if you’re married already, what style tips did you steal for your big day?

Ha, I know, I’m sometimes sorely tempted to go for a vows renewal with a few frills! Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the post 😉 x
You’ve got some great ideas here! I remember wedding planning and how much fun it was to find inspiration. It’s been 7 years and I do kinda miss some of it (but not the stress or the cost lol)
Thank you – our wedding was very chilled, we eloped and got married on a beach in flip flops, so I feel I may have missed out a little, haha. Only joking, I wouldn’t change our day for anything, and we did have a party for our close family and friends when we got back!
Wow! This is really an amazing post. Everybody wants a wedding like celebrity couple.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂
It’s so true… I can’t resist looking at wedding photos of the most recent celebrity weddings. My wedding was very low budget but I definitely followed a trend or two. It turned out so lovely! I only had five weeks to plan but my guests said it looked like I’d spent a year! … Just goes to show you can put on an amazing wedding even with time constraints and a limited budget. Thanks for your ideas!
Some of the weddings are a little OTT but you can definitely take a lot of inspiration from them – how lovely that your guests thought you’d spent so long planning yours, perhaps you’ve missed your calling! 🙂
who doesn’t want a celebrity wedding!? personally i’d like to have one like justin timberlake and jessica biel preferably replacing jessica with me and keeping justin lol! this is a great post though i love the recommendation for the maybelline fit me concealer. One of my favorites, and truly is a dupe for the Nars concealer! xx

I LOVE the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, it blends like a dream and has such great coverage! Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Mich, and I’m intrigued about the JT/JB wedding now, I’ll have to research that, haha xx
The only times I ever used to buy OK magazine used to be when they had a celeb wedding on the cover. I always lust over the dresses, their wedding dresses are always amazing! Great post x
Celebrity dresses are to dreamy aren’t they? They always photograph so well too. Thank you for reading, Aaliyah, I’m glad you enjoyed the post 🙂 x
I love the idea of giving out tiny cakes to guests!
It’s great, isn’t it, such a good way to save on mess too!
Celebrity weddings are so full, it seemed impossible to replicate them with a reasonable budget. Seeing this post has given me a clearer idea of how inspiration can be drawn from the costly affairs and be made again without such heavy expenditure that many of us do not have.
While celebrity weddings are lovely, on a side note, many marriages do not last long . . .
Thank you for sharing!
Oh Jaya, you Grinch, haha, but yes, you’re absolutely right, many celebrity marriages don’t last that long! Even more reason to stick to a budget! 🙂
Haha, a fine reason indeed!
Indeed! 🙂
Such a great ideas. Celebrity weddings are always amazing.
Thank you very much – and yes, indeed they are!
I enjoy seeing the jewellery and the dress the woman chooses! Nick Jones’s wedding looked beautiful. Unfortunately me getting married is a long way off 😂. But I enjoyed reading this post, now I have ideas for when it finally happens 🤞🏻Xx
Oh I do too, some of the jewellery is so beautiful! Ah, that’s so kind, Lauren, thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂 xx
Oh yes Lisa celebrity weddings are perfect clickbait. They live the life of dreams and everyone wants to do the same. I like that dupes and replicas come in the market so fast. It is difficult to justify spending too much on anything. Even though my wedding was as I wanted but there is always the temptation to relive that time. 🙂 Beautiful post Lisa.

Oh, they are, they really are – but that said, it’s fun to see what celebs get up to, even if we don’t have their budgets. And that’s lovely to hear your wedding was exactly how you wanted – although renewing our vows is on my think-about-it list too, haha. Thank you for reading, Via x
These are some great wedding ideas. Especially for these wanting to add a bit of celebrity glam to their special day. I think if I ever get married it would be more rustic, or if elope to Vegas and have a very cheesy one!
We were originally thinking about Vegas but then Key West won out – it would have been lots of fun though!
Thank for sharing your amazing ideas, Lisa. I also made custom small diamond wedding band by taking inspiration from priyanka’s wedding band. I brought loose diamonds lot beside from band, so overall cost was lower than my brother’s wedding band.
Oh that’s such an interesting idea, I had no idea you could do that – thank you!
