AD | Compact in-ears, or wireless noise cancelling earbuds, can provide hours of music wherever you are. But outside interferences, such as construction sites, noisy crowds, and busy streets, can all too easily spoil the fun, can’t they? These sounds can easily overpower your tunes and your concentration. So a pair of wireless earbuds with robust noise-suppressing capabilities, like the XFyro ANC Pro ones with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to filter out unwanted sounds, are ideal. But first, what is active noise cancellation (ANC)?
How do wireless noise cancelling earbuds work?
Without wanting to get too techy, active noise cancellation uses tiny microphones to pick up the outside sounds. Then, inbuilt AI quickly maps those sound wave frequencies, before creating counter sound waves to cancel out the offending noises. A bit like +2 and -2 equalling 0, if you like. Fun fact: noise cancelling headphones were first invented for airplane pilots on long flights, although they’ve since become a vital part of daily life, not to mention self-care, for many of us.
What makes a good set of in-ears?
You need something that not only offers effective noise cancellation, but also exceptional sound quality. They should also be comfortable to wear, with a good battery life so you don’t spend hours charging them up. And ideally, lightweight and portable, which for me is why wireless noise cancelling earbuds win out over headphones every time. But why else is it worth getting noise cancelling earbuds?
Because music isn’t all you can use them for either, as in silencing mode their ANC abilities can soften the constant roar of traffic, or eliminate background chatter while you work, allowing you to think in peace. Background noise, even if you’re not aware of it, is known to cause stress as your body tries to block it out, to help you focus on the task in hand. So creating a quiet, even silent, space instantly places less physical and mental stress on your system.
Tell me more about why xFyro ANC Pro are some of the best noise cancelling wireless earbuds around
xFyro ANC Pro earbuds filter the sounds you need to hear and block the noises you don’t. It’s that simple. Convenient touch controls allow you to adjust your music, access your Siri or Google, make calls, and more, with just a few taps. Bluetooth 5.0 compatible, you get instant auto-pairing and seamless wireless connectivity from up to 30 feet. And that’s not all, here are some of their other features.
Active Noise Cancellation with Transparency Mode
Developed by engineers and musicians, XFyro’s powerful algorithm, coupled with dual beamforming mics, intercepts noises before they reach your ears. In so-called Transparency Mode, it can recognise over 6,000 sounds and divide them into two groups: critical and non-critical. And the earbuds will automatically lower the volume, allowing you to hear critical sounds such as sirens, traffic, and alarms, which is particularly useful for commuters, students, cyclists, and runners. All other sounds are blocked though, delivering near-silence from the surrounding world. In the words of one reviewer:
“I’m listening to music and everything is normal, but suddenly my mom starts talking to me and her voice is in the headphones. I can also text and chat with them hands-free.”
Industry-Topping Battery
Most wireless earbuds give you around two or three hours of playtime before you need to charge them up again. But the xFyro ANC Pro noise-cancellation earbuds can give you up to 10 hours on a single charge. There are also 90 extra hours in the charging case, amounting to whopping 100 hours of playtime.
So, you can keep the device in your car or pocket for as long as you want. Even if you use them for four hours a day, they won’t require a recharge for almost a month. And when it’s time to charge them up again, you only need to place them in the carrying case for 15 minutes to get them back to full power. The case itself needs approximately two hours to fully recharge using a USB-C port.
Perfect Fit for Your Ear
Remember I mentioned comfort being a huge factor in why I prefer earbuds to headphones? What if you want to wear your xFyro ANC Pro true wireless earbuds for long periods, but are worried about putting pressure on your ears?
The good news is the manufacturer developed a unique inner-ear fit to remove the all-too-familiar cork-like feeling. There’s practically no tightness or pressure as the earbuds mould themselves to the natural shape of your ear canal. And they won’t drop out either, whether you’re running or lifting heavy weights. So you can wear them for hours at a time, making them one of the best earbuds for all-day use.
Water Resistance to Fend Off Rain
Although they’re not 100% waterproof (so don’t go swimming in them), xFyro ANC Pro earbuds have the IPX5 certification, meaning they can endure all types of rain, from trickles to monsoons. Whether you’re visiting a rainy region or working up a sweat while exercising, you won’t have to worry about moisture penetrating the exterior. If you’re looking for some wireless noise cancelling earbuds for working out then these might be the ones for you.
Small and Sealed Design
In addition to repelling the rain, one of the best xFyro ANC Pro features is the sealed exterior. There are no gaps or buttons, making them impervious to dust and perfect for trips to sandy beaches while on holiday. Small enough to pop in your pocket or bag too, these really are some of the best true wireless earbuds that cancel noise around.
Where can I buy xFyro Pro wireless noise cancelling earbuds?
Obviously it’s horses for courses and even after reading about all these benefits, you might still decide headphones are for you. But if you are in the market for a new pair of wireless noise cancelling earbuds with a whole host of whizzy features for around half the price of a pair of AirPods, then visit xFyro.com for more details. And don’t miss the glowing testimonial from R&B legend, and Grammy Award winner, Ne-Yo while you’re there either 🙂
Are you ready to get rid of the noise and get lost in the music? Would you, or someone you know, love a pair of wireless noise cancelling earbuds for working out, commuting, or just revelling in the peace and quiet?

You have me intrigued Lisa! I have Airpods right now but am interested in trying noise-cancelling earbuds. I’m a big audiobook reader and love music and podcasts. These might be perfect for use when I’m sharing a room with someone watching TV or on a plane. Thanks for sharing!
I think they’d be absolutely ideal for you, Jodie, especially as you already have AirPods!
While I’ve always admired the cuteness of earbuds, I’m still waiting for my ears to accept them. Which is such a shame!
Ah, that is a shame – maybe you just haven’t found the right ones 😉
These are a great creation as long as you can still hear oncoming traffic when needing to.
Absolutely, that’s what makes them so good!
Great informative post. Tbh I always steer clear of the in ear style headphones as I usually find them really uncomfortable and they often drop it, i think that’s because of my ear piercings though. I’ve not heard of this brand before so thank you for sharing.

Thank you! Yes, I can imagine in-ear buds could be uncomfortable with piercings, which is a shame 🙁 x
I haven’t even had noise cancelling headphones before but I imagine on public transport they would be really helpful. I usually use my air pods for my phone which work really well. Thank you for sharing the benefits of using these kind of headphones.
Lauren
I don’t think many people are aware that you can use ANC for all kinds of situations – glad to hear you’re a fan of earbuds though!
Wow! I have never heard of Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds before but it sounds like a fab idea. Whenever I get headphones, earpiece or earbuds, I always want one that I would be extra comfortable with. Also the fact that these earbuds are water proof is just fab. I would absolutely love to give this a try.
Don’t they just? And yes, comfort is key, as well as the ability NOT to drop out while you’re on the move – I think these are a great addition to the earbuds market 🙂
I’ve been seeing noise-canceling earbuds everywhere. After reading this post really want them.
Antonia || Sweet Passions
Thank you, that’s really great to hear!
Omg I love this! This would be the perfect birthday gift. I’ve never had noise-cancelling headphones, so having this but fits properly in my ear is great and convenient! Stylish and comfortable. Love your review… You mention the benefits and insert your own thing. Thanks for sharing!
They’re such a good gadget, really practical and really helpful as well – thank you, Monique, that’s very kind of you!
Yes! These are the benefits of wireless earbuds. I just got myself one last March.
Ooooh, lucky you, so glad you’re happy with them 🙂
Great post! I think them not dropping out is the most important thing, as it can be so annoying. Thanks for sharing your thoughts here Lisa x
Oh absolutely, it’s really frustrating, they’re so easy to lose that way! Thank you, Eleanor x
This is interesting, well, I’m using headphones for now but I could try this for canceling noise earbuds.
I think the ANC is a really useful added extra 🙂
I’ve always been put off by in-ear earbuds because of how often ones I’ve used fall out and how uncomfortable they are but clearly there are brands out there who have this problem solved! For the noise cancelling aspect, I definitely need something like this. I find it SO hard to concentrate when there’s external noise (that I’m not making myself!) x
Your comment made me laugh so much, Jenny, I know what you mean about noise I’m not making myself! Yes, I think the falling out aspect is something that puts a lot of people off, but as you say, some brands seem to have resolved this 🙂 x
Great review! I love that they’re water resistant, I’ve been wanting to get into more of a workout routine so these would be perfect for that. I love how well they fit your ear too! Thanks for sharing x
Water resistance is such a bonus, ideal for runners (not that I’m one of those but still…!) x
Hi Lisa,
What an awesome product. Isn’t it amazing what can be achieved with technology these days (sorry, that makes me sound a lot older than I am – it’s just that I’m just constantly amazed at what the clever inventors in the world can develop).
I can see that they could be very useful in noisy work situations. Certainly better than the internal battle that I sometimes face: One half of my brain is saying “No, you can’t just shout ‘FFS shut the hell up! Nobody wants to hear your incessant drivel!!’ because sensitive souls would be upset and report you to HR.” While the other says “Do it! Your close to retirement anyway!”. 😉
Hi Richie, yes, I know, and this kind of thing makes me feel older than I am too, haha. I think the ANC would be so useful in the workplace. I work from home but if I ever have to go in to the office, I can see they’d be a life saver!
I love the sound of these wireless noise cancelling earbuds, I also found this post so informative! x

Thank you so much, Lucy, that’s very good to hear x
I am extremely impressed with your review of these earbuds, Lisa! I love that they stay secure and can be used for long periods of time, but I am fascinated by their noise-blocking capabilities. That they intercept and filter sounds before we hear it sounds like a creative and imaginative way to deliver an earbud that truly can make working distraction free, yet still keep us safe and aware in traffic.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much, Jaya, that’s very kind of you! Yes, I think the ANC is such an amazing feature of these earbuds, I can see so many situations where it would be really helpful for all kinds of people 🙂
These sound brilliant! I have a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and they make such a big difference – but they are pretty clunky. I might add earbuds to my Christmas list! x

Oh, that’s interesting about the headphones working so well, but yes, I agree, earbuds win out for lack of clunkinness! x
I don’t have any wireless headphones – I’m worried I’d loose them, I’m always misplacing things, haha! But these sound like a good buy if you’re a little more organised and less forgetful than me!
Hope your week is going well so far 🙂 It’s a rainy one here!
Yes, there is that issue with them being smaller than headphones, haha, but I’d keep them with my phone, so hopefully that would solve the problem. Thank you, it’s a cold one here, sadly 🙁
This is such a great find, noise cancelling earbuds are a must for creating a good work environment. I really like that they are water resistant, that makes them so much more versatile!
Yes, I agree, they’re so helpful in a noisy workplace, and the water resistance is a real bonus 🙂
Wireless earbuds sound so wonderful. Hoping I can get some in the future. I especially like that they cancel noise. Thank you for sharing great details on this post.

Yes, the ANC ones are definitely the best ones to get, I think, so many uses for so many situations!
Wow, these sound incredible! I’ve not heard of the brand before but everything about your review is definitely making me want to check them out. The battery life alone has me sold – that’s what bugs me about my AirPods. Great post!
Oh, thank you, Lindsey, that’s great to hear! And yes, the battery life is pretty incredible, I don’t think I’ve come across one like it for earbuds before!
Wow, noise cancellation wireless EarPods sounds like a fab idea. From your review, I checked out their website and it does look great. Hoping to get one in the future
They do, don’t they? Oh, that’s great to hear, thank you, I hope you can get some too!
I think I will need a pair of these earbuds. As I’ve started commuting from Liverpool to London weekly, it can be tricky in the train, sometimes is very quiet and I can read without any issues, sometimes is very noisy (usually only a couple of people annoying all the rest), so in those situations noise cancelling earbuds could be a really good choice.
I think they’re an ideal solution for commuters – whether you choose music or silence, you can have your own peace and space.
I haven’t tried noise canceling headphones or earbuds before, but now I’m intrigued. The earbuds would be great to use while I’m working or playing on my laptop & my partner is using the tv.
That’s a great idea – you can still talk to each other but you can block out any other noises!
Very interesting post! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I love noise-canceling earbuds! Although, I struggle to find a good pair for me. My ears are quite small, so most pairs fall out of my ears easily, and plus, I end up depleting the battery really quickly. But, it’s much better than wired! Thanks for sharing x
Alexis
Ah, that’s a shame – perhaps you just haven’t found the right pair of ear buds yet then 😉
These earbuds sound great! I like that they are water resistant, and the design looks cool.

The water resistance is a really good feature, isn’t it? 🙂
I’ve always struggled with earbuds, but I have thought about getting noise-cancelling headphones.
I think if you get the right ear buds it makes a world of difference 🙂
I didn’t know that was how noise cancelling works, so I have learnt something new! I haven’t ventured into wireless earbuds yet, but maybe this is my sign to take the jump? Although I would always forget to charge them haha!
Thanks for sharing 🙂

It’s fascinating, isn’t it? I think if you get some earbuds with a long battery life then recharging isn’t so much of a problem – maybe plug them in when you recharge your phone? 🙂
